On Sunday, July 28, at about 4:30 a.m., Atlantic City police responded to the 2400 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a man shot.

Police found a victim, 31, of Linwood, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

Police were able to determine that several men became involved in a verbal altercation with staff and patrons from a local bar. The men entered a vehicle and a passenger fired a gunshot from inside the vehicle.

Detectives executed a court-authorized search warrant on the suspect vehicle where they recovered a loaded handgun and evidence of gunfire, police said.

Arrested on charges of aggravated assault, conspiracy and weapons offenses were: Felix Gomez-Villa, 38; Javier Saloma, 19; Alexis Jeromino Torres, 22; and Carlos Medina Morales, 23, police said.

All four were sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
